You always want someone there to catch you when you fall. I was desperately trying not to fall. I thought I was doing fine until my parents told me that my real mother lived 3000 miles away, in California. Usually that person is your mother. But if she's 3000 miles away, it's a little difficult to be caught. I stared at my biochemistry book, wondering if my mother had ever cared about me. All my friends told me that of course she did, she wanted the best for you. My parents said teh same thing. But I was falling, and there wasn't anyone to catch me.
